Came to the table in a standard pint a chill hazed tangerine color with a sticky half finger bone white head atop.Fresh citrusy aromas with a hint of toasted grain underneath, big and fresh.A smack of the citrus fruits upfront on the palate with a hint of grass, not too sweet on the palate mainly toasted and grainy. The oats provide a very smooth mellow feel wich accents the beer well.My first oat infused ipa and it was damn good.

Really easy drinking, you taste both the oatmeal and the hops.

On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and oat flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with oat qualities that only come through in the taste to me.
Serving type: on tap.
