Beer pours a dark, reddish amber. There was very little head, but I think this was because I started pouring too gently and realized too late in the pour that there was going to be no head.
Taste is malty with a definite tart raspberry flavor. Aftertaste leaves a light fruity flavor that is neither too strong nor too sweet. Mouthfeel is a good balance with a slight carbonation. Would have received a perfect score in mouthfeel, but it was just a little too thick for an amber.
Overall this is a very drinkable beer and I am glad that I got a 6-pack so I can enjoy a few more.
