Got this as an extra in a trade with Tayner..thanks
This is my first beer in this style..I can say I wasn't quite sure what to think before I opened it up and was a little curious..this is pretty darn good.
A - Poured into a Sam Adams glass..pours a brownish red...more on the red side actually and forms a light pinkish head that fell quickly and left very little lacing
S - A hint of fruity rasberry and a little boozy smell to it..nothing bad though
T - Much more than I was expecting..very fruity sweet with a big rasberry statement (it's in the title of the beer what did you expect?). The beer moves into a malty bread flavor and then with just a hint of bitterness..then leaving a rasberry after taste on the palate..pleasant
M - Carbonation is high...almost soda like but not too bad
D - This certainly wasn't what I was expecting..which if very cool..I can't say that I would want this all the time or even more than one in a sitting but it's certainly a nice diversion from the normal and a very easy drinking beer
