Poured into a Guiness Pint Glass
Appearance: Dary Ruby color, low head that disappears quickly, low lacing
Smell, a very raspberry Jam smell, low hops and hefty malt scent
Taste: this is a bit sweet for a brown ale, definitely not something I would normally buy, perhaps this is more of a desert beer than a session type ale.
Mouthfeel, with the addition of the raspberry it changes the feel of this beer, it has the malt feel to it and at the end of the drink it's a bit watery, overall it's not that bad of a beer, just not my thing.
If you are going to invest in a fruit type of beer, I think it best to stick with Lambics or Belgian styles that are conducive to fruit in general.
