Poured from 12oz bottle into maudite snifter.
A- Dark ruby color with a one finger off-white head that leaves lacing all over the glass.
S- Smells of caramel, bananas, raisins and cherries. Very malty. Bananas and brown sugar as it warms
T- Brown sugar and caramelized bananas. A little bit of plum and raisin in there too. The belgian yeast taste is also very present.
M- Smooth with a pretty light body for a dubbel.
O- I'd recommend this to people that want to try Belgian style beers without having to pay as much for the real deal from across the pond. Good rendition of a great style.
