a: Pours a one finger khaki head. The beer is a rich brown in color.
s: Sweet, dark tree fruits pushed forward on lighter Belgian malts. Nice yeasty aroma and some banana esters. A touch of spice and vanilla. Love the interplay of sweet fruity malts with the light ethanol and yeast. Manages to be bold and rich in aroma while intricate and delicate at the same time.
m: carbonation kinda lively and on the lower side of the high range, with a fullish body that's not overbearing
t: A nice example of the style. Mainly paler Belgians with a nice dose of darker malts that bring various fruits. An interesting nutty/toasty flavor waaay in the background. Subtly hopped with a mild bitterness and a little yeasty in the finish. Good, but the great aroma led me to hope for more complexity here. Cleans up well in the finish.
d: easy enough
