A- pours a deep brownish red color with a very big cream colored head that both retains and laces very well
S- smells of sweet malt, almost a little chocolatey, a bit of raisin fruitiness, rich belgian spiciness is present, smells like corriander and orange
T- complements smell, sweet malty flavor, fruity raisin flavor is there, a little bit of anise taste as well
M- peircing carboantion, almost on the verge of being over the top, decent medium body, thick mouthfeel, sticks to palate for a while
D- pretty drinkable, I have always though that new belgium was a solid brewery, but never really made anything that had anything that suprised me, really liked this one, both surprised and impressed, would buy/drink/recomend
