A: Dark but translucent copper color, some reddish hues. Some lacing sticks around, but head disappeared quickly. Nice color.
S: Slightly burnt malt/yeast with a little bready/fruit aroma. Clove and other spice smell as well. Some banana-type smell.
T: Excellent taste. Very complex. Starts slightly burnt, moves to some spice. As beer is warming, banana-like taste is more prevalent.
M: Creamy and medium-bodied. More creamy than it looks/smells which add to overall mouthfeel. Medium carbonation, not too heavy.
O: Great beer and good example of Belgian dubbel. Alcohol is masked, which could lead to a dangerous time if consuming a few of these guys. Having it as a summer sipper, good times!
