Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A - Dark, ruby-red with a healthy two fingers of tan head leaving a great amount of fluffy, persistent lacing.
S - Malty sweet with hints of caramel, chocolate, raisins and alcohol.
T - Malt sweetness right up front. Mildly spicy with a low hop bitterness and an estery fruitiness. Finished malty sweet.
M - Creamy with a relatively low carbonation. Moderate body.
O - A good beer, but nothing more. While many interesting flavors were present in this beer, they were very subdued. Nothing stood out to separate this beer from the pack. Although, I wouldn't turn this beer down by any means, I wouldn't seek it out either.
