a - pours chestnut in color with a thin cap of coarse, tan foam. head dies down to a film and leaves thin, leggy lacing in the glass.
s - carmel, crackers, faint green apple.
t - predominantly carmel malt with spicy notes. peppery, but maybe a with bit of cinnamon as well. has a mild, earthy bitterness and a light, sugary finish. not much going on here.
m - lighter in body with adequate carbonation. co2 profile is on the coarse side though.
o - not black or enlightening, just a decent, easy drinking beer. not likely to be a regular in my fridge, but i wouldn't turn it down either.
