Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a New Belgium globe glass. Beer was a dark brown color with a one finger, off-white, creamy head. Moderate carbonation and very minor lacing around the glass.
Aroma was malt, caramel, toffee, nuts and a touch of coffee.
Taste was roasted nuts, malt, grains, dark fruits and maybe a touch of coffee in the back.
Mouthfeel was pretty carbonated, but went down smooth and was medium bodied.
This is an all around nice session beer. It's not overly complex, but is pretty enjoyable and I think they did a good job with this one.
