750 ml bottle - hand numbered #06-4124
Pours a clear chestnut brown with a small tan head that maintains. No lacing on the glass.
Aroma is quite poignant and very sour. Some dark fruit smells are noticeable.
The taste is intensely sour as it first hits the tongue. Dark fruits are revealed in subdued fashion as the initial shock subsides. Finishes dry and as sour as it started.
Medium body, mild carbonation. Creamy texture.
I love the sour Flanders Reds and this one is a true delight. I polished off the bottle with minimal effort. I wish it were more readily accessible to me.

Served on tap in a 11oz. goblet.
A- Deep garnet with a light toffee head, good degree of clarity.
S- Sour apple, light vinegar, some oak, maybe a bit of spice and vanilla.
T- More sour apple than anything, then some light vinegar, some oak, finishes dry. Not as complex as Le Terrior IMO.
M- Medium a bit more carbonation then I was expecting.
O- A great American version of the style and one of the best beers I've had from New Belgium. Definitely give this one a try.
