Pours out a deep reddish brown with a quickly receding light brown head. 3.5
The aroma hits with cherries and just this big fruitiness that comes off a little like strawberries and raspberries. Some sweetness in there matches well with the fruit. Vinegar and the wood barrel.
Slightly sweet and fairly tart. Delivers a largely fruity taste like the aroma indicated. Lots of cherry and more red fruits and tart green apple, vinegar, wood.
Medium bodied with medium carbonation. The tartness is nice and after the initial sour shock lends itself to a great sippability. Finishes a little dry.
Definitely worth a try if you like sours.
