Probably the most unique beer I have ever had the fortune of drinking. Please remember that using "sour" to describe this beer isn't like sour milk. Sour is a good thing.
a: Very rich brown with an almost bready looking head.
s: A punch in the nose with sour notes. Sniffing 2 or 3 times is probably neccesary to get your nose acclimated.
t: A powerful sour flavor riding a brown ale base. Again, multiple sips are needed for your tounge to adjust and explore the other brown ale notes of this power house of flavor.
m: A puckering, sour mouthfeel soon become a smooth ride after getting used to it.
d: I score this beer with a lower drinkability because it is very sour, and not the kind of thing you down pint after pint of. That being said, it is something I have grown to crave and love drinking.
Serving type: on-tap
