Bottled in 06, Bottle Number 3422. Thanks to BeerHandy, I think. Poured into my Rodenbach Grand Cru tulip, there is two inches of head. Color is a nice toasted amber. Smells sour and refreshing, hints of oak, vanilla, and sour cherries, or other such fruit.
Tastes way sour, not as much sweetness as Rodenbach. There is noticeable Brett and lactic acidity. Oaky tannins, and notes of red wine. Mouthfeel is full bodied with a lingering finish. I want to drink another bottle, but will not out of fear of toilet paper.

Served on tap in a 11oz. goblet.
A- Deep garnet with a light toffee head, good degree of clarity.
S- Sour apple, light vinegar, some oak, maybe a bit of spice and vanilla.
T- More sour apple than anything, then some light vinegar, some oak, finishes dry. Not as complex as Le Terrior IMO.
M- Medium a bit more carbonation then I was expecting.
O- A great American version of the style and one of the best beers I've had from New Belgium. Definitely give this one a try.
