750 ml bottle, caged and corked, hand numbered and dated.
Reddish brown in color, mostly clear with a tan head.
Dark cherries in the nose, followed by notes of rum, alcohol, and wood, plus a touch of barnyard.
Medium light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Berry and cherry flavors briefly show at the top, flowing into sweat, a metallic twang, spanish olives, and a very long sour lemon finish. Gueuze-like in its puckering sourness, funkiness, and complexity.
I have another bottle of this, and I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to age it or not. I'd hate for it to go to vinegar town, but I would like to see what happens down the road.
