Appears deep brown with a dark tan head.
It smells of lemon juice, tart cherries and slightly toasty malts.
It tastes initially of tart pie cherries. I get a bit of a toasty malt flavor. The sourness of the beer is very aggressive. I get reflections of lemon juice in the beer. There is a mild oak quality to the beer but the main flavor of this beer is sour cherries. There is a bit of a sweet flavor that balances the tartness but the beer is extremely sour.
It has a somewhat thick mouth feel with moderate low carbonation.
Overall most likely the best beer NB makes and one of the most intense sours on the market.

Served on tap in a 11oz. goblet.
A- Deep garnet with a light toffee head, good degree of clarity.
S- Sour apple, light vinegar, some oak, maybe a bit of spice and vanilla.
T- More sour apple than anything, then some light vinegar, some oak, finishes dry. Not as complex as Le Terrior IMO.
M- Medium a bit more carbonation then I was expecting.
O- A great American version of the style and one of the best beers I've had from New Belgium. Definitely give this one a try.
