Poured into a Founder's Brewing Company Snifter.
A: Pours a reddish brown, with about 1 inch of with foam that dissipates pretty quickly.
S: It has an acidic nose, with tartness of darker fruits. Vinegar is very noticeable, almost like a sweaty foot smell (but I kind of like that, so don't take that as a negative).
T: More sour than I expected. The tartness comes from cherries right off the bat, the vinegar is noticeable as is the oak presence. Very flavorful, not just sour.
M/D: It was mildly carbonated, which worked very well with balancing this beer's sourness and flavor. It finished dry. It is highly drinkable. As good as an example of this style that I can think of.
