Poured from a 22oz bottle into a duvel tulip. Pours a dark black/ruby red with a nice one finger head with tight bubbles. The aroma has a very nice tartness and sour fruit (apples?) blending nicely with the oak. The taste hits you with the sour fruits, along with some subtle earthy and oak notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with nice carbonation, and finishes very clean and smooth. Maybe a touch watery, but it's on the lighter side (6% ABV) so it should be that way.
Overall, a very nice sour from New Belgium. Just missing a little bit on the taste and feel to be truly an elite sour, but it is damn good.

Served on tap in a 11oz. goblet.
A- Deep garnet with a light toffee head, good degree of clarity.
S- Sour apple, light vinegar, some oak, maybe a bit of spice and vanilla.
T- More sour apple than anything, then some light vinegar, some oak, finishes dry. Not as complex as Le Terrior IMO.
M- Medium a bit more carbonation then I was expecting.
O- A great American version of the style and one of the best beers I've had from New Belgium. Definitely give this one a try.
