appearance - brown with amber highlights. Nice one finger head, higher carbonation then I rememeber.
smell - amazing aroma, sour tart cherries, and some funk, a little caramel malt in there as well.
taste - acid at the start, cherry bomb in the middle, and then finish's extremely tart. Also some sweetness mixed in and caramel toffee malts.
mouthfeel - medium level of carbonation gives this a thin yet creamy mouthfeel. really perfect balance.
overall - This is about exactly what I want in a Flanders Red Ale. Sour cherries, tart, caramel, toffee, malt sweetness in the backbone. Could use a little more backbone but damn good. Very drinkable!
