Served in a pint glass and sits a copper / dark amber. A small bubbly head that dissipates quickly.
Smells of fruit, sweet sweet fruit - a bit of green apple and sour cherry. Or maybe a lot. The aroma gives you a heads up regarding tartness.
Wow. Welcome to tart city. This is remarkable. The initial flavor is nearly overwhelming, but as it subsides pleasant fruity esters dance on the palate. In fact, the difference is so great I am surprised by every sip.
This beer moves efficiently across the tongue. A wonderfully clean finish aided by impeccable carbonation.
I'm not a huge fan of the brewery, but I absolutely loved drinking this beer. Well done, New Belgium.
