Bomber from 2011
Appearance – Reddish brown colour with a large size frothy off white coloured head. The head lasted for 5 minutes or so before it began to dissipate.
Smell – Malts, vinegar, dark fruits, citric acid
Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste malts, balsamic vinegar, and some dark fruits. (raisins, cherries) I can also taste an earthiness and some citric acid. The beer finishes with a tart/sour vinegar and dark fruit aftertaste.
Overall – Delicious, they have really done a good job with this beer. The bottle size makes it a good one to share with other but I could probably still get through one of these on my own. The only drawback might be the price.

Served on tap in a 11oz. goblet.
A- Deep garnet with a light toffee head, good degree of clarity.
S- Sour apple, light vinegar, some oak, maybe a bit of spice and vanilla.
T- More sour apple than anything, then some light vinegar, some oak, finishes dry. Not as complex as Le Terrior IMO.
M- Medium a bit more carbonation then I was expecting.
O- A great American version of the style and one of the best beers I've had from New Belgium. Definitely give this one a try.
