Great looking beer - burnt ruby brown body topped with a half finger of khaki head that retains and laces well.
Loads of super sweet dark fruits... raisins, dates, plums, figs... brown sugar and molasses, pretty imposing. Not obviously sour. There's a good dose of red wine vinegar. Really a unique smell; it's got that "La Folie" aroma.
Oooh... yeah. That's a beautiful thing. Not exactly a traditional "sour brown." It's more like a big bad oud bruin which I totally dig... tart dark berries, fresh apple, a bit of oak, a bit of awesome. Again, this seems so familiar but at the same time it's really a game changer.
Try it. It's a badass beer.
