2011, poured into oversized tulip (taken from drunken notes)
A: Golden, straw like color, looks cloudy
N: Fresh citrus and oily hop aroma blast, bubblegum, rock candy; fresh pineapple, orange zest, tangy tropical fruit aromas like kiwi, all pinned against a brett funkiness.
T/M: Smooth carbonated sourness, velvet-like and rollicking along the palate; heavy on the tangy fruits and citrus-like hop character, fresh pineapple, tangerine, more of the orange zest; a great Champagne-like spritziness. Not hop-forward by any stretch but they are definitely present and it's an interesting interplay between the puckering tartness and the hop character
D: Love this beer and would love to see dry-hopped sour beers become the new barrel aged imperial stout.
