Had this on tap, now out of the bottle for a review. Fairly fresh, just showed up on the shelves.
Nice looking hazy neon orange with ample carbonation.
Acetic sourness with some green apple hits first. Peaches and citrus give it a tangy, hoppy vibe, even some pine shows up. I started thinking "IPA sour." Lots of brain pathways crossing on this one, a lot going on and combining tastes and smells that are usually mutually exclusive, at least in my experience.
Not overly sour, but some puckering and the lactic beats out the acetic in the mouth. (I think I would have liked this more if it were less sour, more fruity and IPA-like, like a New Glarus "sour" with a unique hoppy vibe.)
Overall, I like what they did here. Good execution on an interesting idea.
edit: had another. on second thought, I wouldn't change much. The hops had started to fade, but the beer overall is quite tasty. Upped the score some.
