A - The body is a hazy orange in color, topped by a very nice three finger off white head. Head retention is beautiful and leaves a gorgeous sticky lacing down the inside of my Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
S - This is a funky sour smelling number! Vinegar with a sort of lactic, yet earthy smell. I'm intrigued by this brew so far!
T & M - Big vinegar up front with a bunch of fruitiness complementing flavors. Grapefruit, orange rind, lemon zest...nice complexity between the sour vinegar and the sweet fruit that seems to appear halfway through and continues until after the swallow. A bit of funky acidic aftertaste let's you know just how wild this ale is. Medium bodied and smooth.
D - I'm on a sour beer kick and I'm not at all disappointed in this one. This probably isn't a brew for everybody, but if you enjoy something a little differentr every now and again you'll probably appreciate this one. I know I did.
