Pours a pale orange to golden with a big foamy, feather white head packed with dense carbonation bubbles that slowly dissipates to a thin, snow-like lacing.
The aroma consists of hops, citrus, and even something semi-sweet.
The flavor is not what I expected, more sweet malt than the nose, biscuit-like, and still a bit hoppy at the back end, and again some pleasant citrus notes.
Medium to light in body, a bit thin, medium carbonation, nice balance of flavors.
The sweet malt ultimately wins out in the flavor; and this is a very nice/easy drinking beer. Great for summer outings where you may be having multiple beverages. Not to mention, who doesn't love an American Blonde?
