This is what it sounds like--a stripped down beer.
A - Solid gold color. Foamy, rocky head which slowly dissipates. Golden, clean motor oil hue. Minimal lacing.
S - Lightly floral and decently hoppy with some malts and grains.
T - Crisp up front with a slight bite presumably from the hops, but perhaps more from the Kaffir lime leaves. The hops have more presence in the nose than in the mouth. Whatever boldness the beer has quickly gives way to finish much lighter than expected.
M - Light with pleasant carbonation. Perhaps a bit too thin in the finish for my taste.
D - Really a quite compelling take on a light summer brew. I drank this several times over the summer, and it goes down very easily and is very refreshing. Just enough flavor to be interesting, but so light. Great for an afternoon at the pool, or after mowing the lawn. Definitely not a favorite choice, but well executed for the "skinny dip" session beer they intended to create.
