Organic beers are rather challenging to make with all sorts of off-flavors often lurking about. Extra degree of difficulty points to New Belgium for making an organic in the witbier style.
Very clear brew for a witbier, with a very clear, yellow brew with a fizzy white head floating on tap. Some decent sheeting action on my tulip glass. Smells a little yeasty and funky. The taste is very light, with a yeasty spicey zip and maybe the slightest hint of citrus peel. Slight savory spice note as it warms. Little tingly on the mouth feel, which I liked, and very easy drinking beer, no small accomplishment for an organic.
