poured from a 12oz into my arrogant bastard pint glass (the correct way of course). Cloudy pale yellow coloring not quite dense enough to be mango, but not quite pale enough to be lemon. Nice carbonation, white head dissipates quite fast.
The scent is very uplifting, fresh herbs and spices, I get the coriander for sure. Also imparts the citrus quite a bit, more so lemon than anything else because of the semi-sour smell.
The flavor is very much citrus, lemon for sure, spices don't retain too much of their aspect in the taste but they are present. The malt asserts itself well too, a light wheat comes through although it reminds me of white bread which really doesn't have much flavor to it. The small amount of sour flavors imparted from the yeast give the breadiness a much better balance. Basically take some lemon juice, squeeze it on sourdough bread, sprinkle it with coriander and a bit of sugar and you have this beer's flavor.
The mouthfeel is ok, it's almost too light for me but not quite, the wheat malt gives the body enough character to be enjoyable while not weighing you down at all.
Super drinkable beer, although I can't really see myself enjoying a bunch in a row, it's got enough flavor to balance it's thinner body and look to keep it going. You definitely have to pour it the right way and get all the yeast out of the bottle though because if you don't you get a beer that looks filtered and has no sour yeast quality to the flavor.
