I was a little hesitant to purchase this one, as though I have enjoyed the seasonal 2 Below and 1554 from this brewery, it seems that their ever popular Fat Tire has slipped in quality as of late.
Still since I was able to score a single 12 oz. bottle from a Bristol Farms store in Redondo Beach, CA, I decided to give it a try.
Cloudy, light citrus in color, with an aroma of same citrus and some detectable spice. Not quite "frothy" but close. Tastes of mild citrus as well, more lemony than orange. Nearly undetectable hops provides a surprisingly nice balance.
Mouthfeel is smooth and, how shall I say, "pleasant" for lack of a better term. Not knock your socks off good, but all in all drinkable and definitely one I will give another try.
