On tap in a tulip.

Hazy glowing caramel orange body capped with a finger of thick, creamy white head. Excellent retention with good lacing.

A very thick and fluffy brew loaded with bananas, cloves and candi sugar, but with a substantial punch of citrusy hops underneath. A nice crisp yeasty character and light fruit (apple, pear) are present as well.

An unexpected gem from a brewery I normally don't pay attention to. Excellent Belgian IPA (miscategorized here as an American IPA, IMO).

On tap at Elysian fields - pint glass, sultry orange with a small head but nice lace. Cloudy and unfiltered.

Overall, I'm enjoying this. The Belgian qualities rise and are more prominnt than say the Stone Cali-Belgique. This is nicely hopped and def bitter but the yeast plays on the flavor nicely and ends up citrus-ey.

Im on my iPhone, so no in-depth review, but a great example of the new trendy Belg-IPA style. Check it out if you're a fan of competing offerings from Green Flash or Stone. Cheers!

pours a cloudy pale yellow with a very large white head, and decent lacing.

smell is of pear, apple, some caramel, a sweetness, and alcohol is present after the foam dies down.

taste is of sweet fruit, caramel, and grapefruit hops, ends bitter and sweet.
