$6.99 for a bomber. Brand new to Michigan.
Brewed with Pale, C-80, Oats, Wheat, Carapils, Lemon Peel and Lemon Verbena. Hopped with Target, Willamette, and Cascade
OG=14.9, FG=2.9, 22 IBU's, 6.2% ABV, 195 kcal/12oz.
Pours out to a clear medium orange, forming a tall white head with amazing retention and beautiful lacing, thanks in part to the oats and the sprightly carbonation, about ~3.0 carbs. The aroma opens with mangoes and traditional brett character, faint suggestion of hops when swirled. Mouthfeel is clean with a medium-light body and mild tartness...not so acidic as to give me heartburn. Taste opens with strong mango and pineapple, followed by a medium sweetness balancing the funky brett acidity. Mild bitterness and a little bit earthy with pleasant graininess and honey in the finish.
A really nice beer. 22oz is plenty for one sitting, but I would buy it again. Recommended.
