Overall a very very pleasant surprise.
My first bottle from the lips of faith series (does la folie count?)
A-pours a golden copper with great lacing the head lasts forever. Slightly hazy and I left the yeast in bottle. Looks like a beer you want to drink on a hot summer day, like today!
S-smells of light yet complex malt and some orange peel citrus.
T-very well balanced between the tartness of the funky yeast (I cant spell Barc...) Spicy and a beer that really opens up after a few minutes in the glass, drink cool but not cold for sure.
M- has a lighter body which makes it perfect for well drinking. No alcohol and no cloying.
D- perfect beer to sip on a hot day, to bad it is so expensive or I would by it in cases.

22oz bottle served in a Prairie Teku
Thanks to Yoshi Optimator for this one! Cheers!
A - Hazy amber/apricot color with 2 fingers of soapy tan bubbles. Zero lacing with a thin cap.
S - Earthy citrus, acidic, white wine, granny smith apples, sharp sourdough bread, dusty grains, over ripe tropical fruit, pineapple and mango, sweet but funky. Fruity alcohol coming through.
T - Follows the nose with earthy citrus, grainy bread, peppery, old grass, apple juice, muted lemons, dry yeast. There's a hint of acidity, but not as much as the nose describes. The finish brings more pepper along with some bitter melon rind.
M - Annoyingly high carbonation, you can't hold a drink in your mouth for more than 2 seconds or it just completely turns to foam. The body is thin for a split second. So you have extreme opposites.
I'm not exactly sure but pretty sure this is a few years old. An interesting beer for sure. The mouthfeel threw it off a little for me. I'm not a fan of swallowing straight foam. Great aroma. The funk is delicate without being light, very earthy with notes of sourdough bread and tropical fruit.
