look: two finger fizzy white head which quickly dissipates, beer is a cloudy amber colour with slow moving carbonation within.

smell: tart sour aroma dominates, lychee, cinnamon, apple, pear, raspberry, rhubarb, hint of biscuity malt, caramel, smells rather inviting.

taste: the cinnamon is so cool, way more cinnamon to taste than on the nose, the balance between the spice, the fruit and the sourness is impressive, they go together quite harmoniously, rhubarb crumble-esque, lychee, raspberry, really tart, nice levels of sourness, good stuff.

feel: medium bodied, medium carbonation, very refreshing for a 7.5% beer, really drinkable, alcohol totally hidden, puckering sourness, dry.

overall: what a fun beer, really different, and really quite good, surprisingly good

As an avid consumer of various lychee products (the actual fruit, teas, juices, etc.) I was disappointed by the taste of this beer. It was very exciting to see this fruit being added into a beer as there is a lack of inclusion for various subtropical fruits into beer palates.

The Saigon cinnamon overpowered the fruit giving this beer more of a spiced and warm flavor with very subtle fruity notes. The beer was very tart which was a pleasant experience, I just wished it had done lychee the justice.

Lychee, in my opinion, would have better been paired with more citrus type fruits.

This one pours a slight hazy golden color, with a small head, lots of lacing.

This smells like oak spice, vanilla, citrusy lychee, a touch of spice, and lemon.

I wasn't sure how the cinnamon was going to translate here, but it works well - adding a subtle spice that blends well with the oak character. It's mildly sour, with vanilla, lemon, and an almost grape-like and citrusy character from the lychee. It's a unique fruit flavor that works well here.

This is light bodied, and very clean, with very little lingering acidity to it. It's quite drinkable.

This is a unique and weird combo that works better than I would have figured.

22oz. bottle

Pours amber orange gold with a creamy frothy white foam head. Smells like mild lychee fruit, some spice, wood, and earthy herbs. Tastes like tart lychee, cinnamon spice, wood, caramelized malt, with earthy herbal hops. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy with moderate smooth carbonation. Overall a nice wood aged sour ale with lychee and cinnamon.

Quick: Light, bright nose. I'm from south florida so I know lychee and that note is predominant. Slight dryness on the palate, mild head on the pour. Faintest of cinnamon which rounds out nicely. Trying to figure out where organism the sour notes come from. It doesn't have a Lacto nose, so perhaps Brett. Pleasant and drinkable.
