Thought I was getting into a Marzen style beer, was suprised after the pour and the aroma, hopefully it's for the better
Appearance-BMC like body. Head is a 2 finger off white head with some big tight bubbles. Pretty good retention and lacing.
Smell-Some nice floral hops, really suprised me, then realized the beer was called Hoptober, makes sense to me now. Some malts and light wheat.
Taste-Upfront a lot of Hop bitterness that carrys over to a spicey, light maltness. Hops carry through to the finish with some light bitterness and some nice floral hops.
Mouthfeel-Highly carbonated, light bodied. Finish is kind of dry.
Overall-More of the same from New Belgium, simple but good beers for a reasonable price, and thats what you're getting here.
