Well, this golden ale certainly pours a semi-hazy gold in the tulip glass, nice white head and a layer of sheet lace around the rim.
Certainly not a blond ale as listed here on BA, close to a IPA (or maybe an APA) with all the hops swirling around in the aroma and taste. Bits of citrus, orange and even some toasted bread kick in for a pot puree of flavors. Only one drawback for me, a sturdy dose of floral - but I'll not knock off for a personal quirk. Crisp and clean finish, no hint of any alcohol for this 6% brew.
Another good beer from NB - they continue to crank out nice beers at an economical price.
