Got a single Ranger at Chuck's Beverage in Chagrin Falls and though I'd give it a go. Although I think that many of New Belgium's selections have drifted from pure craft brews to something more "nationally" palatable, this IPA seemed to still maintain it's true roots.
A: Poured a nice brilliant copper/orange color with perfect clarity and a full three fingers of off-white head with fine textured foam. The head had excellent retention and left robust lacing on the walls of my pint glass.
S: Resinous pine, grapefruit and some type of sweet fruit (apricot)? followed by malt.
T: Bitter piny hops which is balanced nicely with citrus, orange and noticeable malt backbone.
M: A tad thin on the tongue despite it's ample carbonation and abv.
D: Very drinkable given it's moderate abv, and cleanness on the palate. I would love to be able to have this ale around as a everyday beverage. Refreshing, and not too heavy on the buds.

Poured into pint glass.
A - lite translucent golden straw color. 1 1/2 finger head that lingered a bit. Good lacing all the way down. A lotof bubbles
S - Right off the bat got a lot of fruity smells (grapefruit, pineapple, lemon) and piney hops. With a floral note. Toasted malt too
T - straight up grapefruit and piney taste just awesome. got the bitterness too, but just the right amount. Perfect mix of malt and hops.
M - medium light feel with a dry bubbly finish bitterness is perfecr
O - a great IPA imo. I have heard mixed things about this one but I really enjoyed it. I have been sticking with boulevards Mid West ipa but this is giving it a run for its money for sure!
