Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A - Pours a crystal clear amber with a puffy off-white head that leaves a sticky, long lasting lacing.
S - Perfect example of a west coast hop aroma. Resinous citrusy hops almost like smelling a fresh hop addition to the boil kettle. The hops dominate the aroma with little added by the malts.
T - Bitter citrus hops right upfront, grapefruit and orange peels. A grassy bitter aftertaste. However, the hops are very well balanced with the malt. Although the hops dominate the beer, a slight malt sweetness emerges.
M - A little thin-bodied and watery and a little low on the carbonation.
O - This beer is a strong showing. The only downside may be the watery mouthfeel. West coast hop lovers will love this beer, but if you're looking for something complex, you won't find it here. That said, this is a solid IPA that I would definitely have again.
