Pours pale, golden with a one finger white, rocky head that laces well. Carbonation is active and visible in the glass. Malt aroma is pretty strong for a hop forward beer: white bread crust and some biscuit mostly make this up. Hop aroma is mostly pine with some orange and grapefruit. Flavor follows aroma: mostly white bread until some pine flavor comes through and the bitterness sets in, which is slightly metallic and root-bitter. The finish is dry, feel is middling.
This isn't a great IPA, but I could drink a lot of it. There are better stand-bys, but this is close to others.
