I found this beer in a folly pack. Serving is 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass.
A- Light amber in color, nice two-finger-width lacing with moderate retention.
S- Smells strongly of orange, mango, coriander, and grapefruit. Slightly fruitier than a typical IPA.
T- Early palate is sweet biscuit malt, followed by a nice hop bouquet mid-palate. The hop notes are more tropical and flowery than the standard pine-y and citrus-y. The palate finishes with more of New Belgium's trademark sweet biscuit maltiness.
M- Moderate bodied, clean mouthfeel. No "sediment" grittiness here.
D- Highly drinkable. It may be a malty and sweet IPA, but it is very drinkable and could be good for those who aren't into hops. Another solid entry by NB that's worth a try.
