Appearance: Pours a light to medium golden color which is quite a bit lighter than I normally expect from an IPA. 1 finger white creamy head which dissipates quickly.
Smell: Very strong hops with a bit of pine and hints of citrus rinds.
Taste: Pretty decent amount of hops up front. Pine flavor is dominant with just a hint of lemon peel. Not as much bitterness as one would expect from an IPA. Finish is simple and not overpowering.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a light amount of carbonation. Quite smooth.
Drinkability: High drinkability for a beer with an ABV of 6.5%. You could knock back a few without any trouble.
Overall: I'd rate this as an above average IPA. It's not something I'll actively seek out but I'll finish my six pack and won't consciously avoid it in the future.
