Transparent orange color brew - pretty standard. Thick white head with good retention and large patches of creamy lacing.
Nose is bold and inviting. I know this is going to be a hoppy treat for the palate.
Taste starts out with a good dose of citrusy hops, lots of lemon and grapefruit flavor. The malt provides a biscuity backbone which balances the flavor well. However, the finish is a little off, overly dry and quite soapy.
Medium-bodied ale with some mellow bubbles.
The bitter soapy aftertaste makes it a struggle to take another swig. Overall though, a descent IPA with a good flavor up to the finish but there are plenty of better examples of the style to be enjoyed.
