Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass.
About an inch worth of fizzy head, fast acting and quickly dissapating
Color was a foggy honey amber with an aroma like a gust of wind through heavy blades of grass... and mom had a rhubarb pie, sitting on the window sill from a far away
Flavor was earthy and intense, hops centered. Slipperly-soapy mouthfeel after it warms up, but a tiny bit of textured grainy malt in the finish helped level any bitterness after the first sip... not that I don't like a nice bitter. Slight taste of nectarine and apricot. Gathered an aroma of toast as it warmed up..
A nice throwback IPA for me personally, well crafted, and almost sessionable. Enjoyed it quite thoroughly.
