A - Pour a deep honey-golden color with some slight amber highlights. 1/2-inch white head that fades relatively quickly but leaves lacing on the glass.
S - Just from the smell, I can tell they've used at least one of the "c" hops varieties (centennial, chinook, cascade) ...I was right! Just checked NewBelgium.com- Chinook, Simcoe, Cascade. Very floral and citrusy. Smells like hop juice!
T - A punch of bitterness up front that sticks to the sides of the tongue. A great, thick malty backbone follows with some toasty notes included.
M - Balanced carbonation and certainly not watery! One of the more viscous American IPA's i've tasted.
