Poured from bottle into an imperial pint. Best by 05/08/2011, so I'm technically a week late. Bottled on 12/7/2010.
A: Thick, foamy, off-white head with excellent lacing. Golden olive oil color with large carbonation bubbles. Very appealing.
S: Strong, earthy, and piney hops with sweet honey malt in the background.
T: Very clean hops taste with a sweet malt backbone. Great hops bitterness without overdoing it. A bit of alcohol on the back end.
M: Medium-light bodied, very crisp and clean. Dryness from the hops lingers slightly.
O: Very solid American IPA that has plenty of hops without being overpowering. A sweet honey malt balances the crisp hops bitterness. Enjoyable.
