Poured into a 12 ounce Pint style tumbler, nice golden tawny hue, dense head 1 finger thick,

Nice piney aroma right off the bat, some citrus, Cascade and Chinook are right up front where they are supposed to be. I think one of the most aromatic American IPAs i have had.

Nice crisp attack, the piney, almost juniper across the palate, with a dry hoppy finish. It doesn't overwhelm the malt either.

Hoppy finish, with a beautiful original taste and feel.

Overall, I would definitely keep this on hand, and will look for it in the future.

I picked up this single 12oz brown bottle at the Binny's store in Plainfirld, IL for $1.67. It was in their mix-and-match loose beer bin. No freshness date.

The beer poured a clear, amber/orange color and made a ½-finger of white head that lasted a little over a minute. It left some really nice lacing.

The beer smelled like orange peel.

Mild malty sweetness with a lot of citrus in it - mostly orange. It had both a fruity orange juice flavor along with some really bitter orange peel flavor. Also a touch of lemon and grapefruit hops.

Light bodied with medium carbonation.

If you like orange flavored beers, then this is for you. Even if you're not an orange fiend it's still pretty good.
