On-tap at Stone Sour Fest. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a murky dark brown with no head, just a couple of bubbles. Smells of oranges, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon toast. Taste is complex. Lots of "holiday" spices all over the place and that cinnamon toast thing going on too. Some sweetness along with some mild sour also. A unique offering for sure. Flavors linger long after finished. Probably wouldn't have much of this, but overall very interesting. I liked it.

On-tap at Stone Sour Fest
A: The pour is a muddy orange/brown color with no head to speak of.
S: The nose is dominated by cinnamon and the rest was comprised of vinegar and lemon juice. What a lovely combination...
T: The flavor was just completely off. It tasted like metallic apple sauce with way too much cinnamon and nutmeg dumped in to it. Plenty of vinegar and lemon juice here, along with a mulled/spiced cider sort of vibe.
M: Quite drying on the palate, which I normally like (but not with these flavors). Medium in both body and carbonation, as well.
D: This was a miss from New Belgium, one of the few bad sours they've put out. Too bad, but what can you do?
