Pours a light and clear amber color. A carbonated head appears but quickly recedes to a thin coating. Aroma is a little weak, but I do detect faint hints of toasted malt and hops, as well as some grassiness. Taste is much better than I anticipated - a nice roasty character is strongly in the foreground and it is complimented by a light hop bitterness. It does not dry the palate as hoppier beers may, but I feel it is a little too 'watery.' This is a good 'everyday' beer, but truth be told I'd rather have a good Pilsener.
