Poured form a 12oz brown bottle into a snifter. The beer is golden and absolutely clear. It looks like it's going to be a nice, crisp, refreshing, summer brew. The head is eggshell white and about two-fingers thick. As it slowly dies down it leaves lace all over the glass.
The aroma is sweet and fruity. A touch of light honey, light malt, fresh fruits (apricot and cantaloupe), and fresh cut grass.
On the light side of medium, with an instantly sweet and fruity flavor that transitions to bitter and spicy before it finishes out. The initial flavors are honey, apricot and hay. This quickly gives way to spicy and earthy bitter hop flavor that continues to be highlighted by that sweet apricot. In the end it rounds out to a semi-dry finish.
Definitely a good summer drinker. This will probably make it into the fridge once or twice more before fall.
